Cara Lestrade is the anti-social, sarcastic daughter of DI Lestrade. She's very pretty, but refuses to believe it when anyone tells her. She loves books, old movies, and vintage everything. Cara loves to bake, but is incredibly horrible at it and surprises everyone by not burning the house down.
When Cara was 13, her best friend commit suicide, leaving her alone and helpless, always getting picked on. She slowly put herself in a shell, hiding emotion and everything else from everyone, hoping that maybe they'd leave her alone. In that timespan, she became incredibly attached to her family, developing close relationship with her father.

Cara woke up, in a good mood for once. It was her birthday, her 15th, and her father had promised her that he'd take her somewhere. She had wanted to go to the theme park, but her father had insisted it be a surprise. She turned on some music and got dressed, quickly brushing her hair and teeth before going downstairs.
"Good morning!" She singsonged, coming into the kitchen and hugging Greg. "How'd you sleep?" She made a cup of tea and sat down at the table opposite him, stirring it with a small spoon. A grin was plastered across Cara's face, and nothing could possibly bring her mood down today.

Cara cleared her throat and stepped onto the stage. The crowd fell silent as she looked up. Her mother was not there, as expected, but she knew somewhere, her father was.
"People often ask me what I want to be when I'm older. I usually tell them that I don't know, or I just make up something so I sound prepared." A few chuckles rose from the crowd.
"But in all honesty, I want to be just like my dad. Some may think it childish and say it's stupid, but my father is my idol. He saves your lives all the time, but never ask
